Description
An Idea I had shortly after finishing Vinyl's apartment, Kyeojin wanted to make sure that I go through with making it, so, he commissioned it to make sure I draw the idea out (Though I has the idea before it was commissioned, it will be in my regular "MLP Arts and animation folder", Here on Deviantart).
Just like the Last one, This too is a one-point perspective drawing, and is mirrored in direction from the Vinyl Pic. that way, when you put them together, they form a set of some kind. This is how I see Octavia living, if she had an apartment of her own in either Canterlot, or a big city of some sort. Modern, clean, and just as cozy and calm. This too took a lot of work, maybe a Day, day and a half. But all worth it. The details came out nicely, and like the last pic, and proud of it.
You can find the Vinyl version below

Oh FRICK, how did I miss this?! I loved the Vinyl half of this, shoulda watched you earlier...
Anyways, as an accompaniment piece for the Vinyl one, the choice to mirror the angle of the one-point perspective is brilliant. Even though I don't support the general idea of shipping, OctaScratch is my one weakness. And for even better contrast, that Vinyl plush... *squee*
It's as clean and organized as I imagined it to be! Though unexpectedly artsy...
Like the Vinyl half, the little details really help sell this. The Vinyl plush, yes, but the cello tucked away behind the lamp, the keys with her Cutie Mark on it, the Abstractionist paintings on the left and right (cute that the one on the left uses Vinyl's color scheme; another adorable touch!), the metronome on the upper shelf, the Minimalistic-in-form vase under the Vinyl plush... so much to look at and enjoy!
This captures her classical self without completely forgetting her musical self; I was surprised to see an art collector's room feel initially, but it lends a clean, cozy, and inviting feel to it. Excellent work!
If only I had the points or money to commission you, I would ask for a Lyra one to accompany these two, with the one-point perspective placed in the center. Then one could place all three of them side-by-side as a triptych, framed in gold and hinged like an altar piece... Can anyone else pay for this?
